How to Get Train Ticket refund during this lockdown .

Friends, if you have also booked a train ticket and your ticket has been canceled due to lockdown , then how will you get its refund

As you know Prime Minister Narender Modi annouced lockdown from 21 march , its meanwhile all the passengers trains , school , colleges , company's , industries are also shuting down . Due to lockdown all train are canceled but the tickets of people who had booking in train , have now cancelled . So now the question is that how will people get a refund for the train ticket after lockdown .

there are two ways to book a train tickets

1. Irctc official app or Irctc official Website

2. Ticket Reservation Counter

If you have book your train ticket from IRCTC , your refund will be automatically credited to the account from which the ticket amount paid .

2. But if you booked your ticket from railway reservation counter then you have no need to visit the reservation counter duing lockdown . because if a train is cancelled by the government for journey between March 21 to June 30, refund across the counter can be taken on submission of ticket within 90 days from the date of the journey, instead of the present deadline of 3 days including the date of the journey.
